Structure of the ASC

The Association of Speakers Clubs (ASC) is organised to support members at every stage of their public speaking journey, from local clubs right through to the national level.

At the top is the National Committee, which oversees the Association as a whole. Beneath this are seven regions, each responsible for coordinating and supporting the activities in their part of the UK. One of these is the Online and Corporates Region, which provides opportunities for virtual engagement and for workplace-based clubs.

Each region is made up of 2 to 4 areas, and within each area, you’ll find 2 to 7 clubs. These clubs are the heart of the ASC, where members meet regularly to practise and improve their speaking and leadership skills in a friendly and supportive environment.

This structure ensures that clubs are well-supported, ideas and best practice are shared, and members can participate in a wide range of events and opportunities — locally, regionally, and nationally.
